Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 04-07-2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vulcan ("Vulcan," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information in connection with your use of our website, software, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
No Personal Account Creation
Vulcan does not require you to create a traditional account with a username, password, or email address. Access is authenticated via your blockchain wallet. We do not collect your name, date of birth, government ID, or other conventional identity information unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g. via a support request).
1. Information We Collect
Because the Service uses wallet-based authentication and operates on public blockchains, the information we handle differs from a typical web platform. We collect:
a) Blockchain & Wallet Data
- Wallet address: Your public wallet address used to authenticate and interact with the Service. This is publicly visible on-chain and is not considered private by nature.
- On-chain transaction data: All transactions executed through Execution Wallets are recorded on public blockchain networks. This data is immutable and publicly accessible by anyone.
- Execution Wallet balances and activity: We maintain internal records of assets held in and transactions processed through your Execution Wallets for operational and support purposes.
b) Usage & Technical Data
- Strategy configuration data: The parameters, settings, and configurations you define within the Service dashboard.
- Log data: IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, timestamps, and error reports collected automatically when you access the Service.
- API interaction data: Records of API calls made to and from the Service, including request types, volumes, and timestamps.
- Cookies and local storage: Session cookies and similar technologies used to maintain your authenticated session and remember dashboard preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
c) Voluntarily Provided Data
- Support communications: Any information you provide when contacting us for support, including email addresses, transaction hashes, or descriptions of issues.
- Referral data: If you participate in our referral program, we associate your wallet address with referred accounts for the purpose of calculating and distributing commissions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:
- Service operation: To authenticate your access, process your strategy configurations, execute transactions through Execution Wallets, and maintain the technical function of the Service.
- Transaction records: To maintain accurate internal records of Execution Wallet activity for operational, audit, and dispute resolution purposes.
- Security and fraud prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorised access, abuse, manipulation, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Product improvement: To analyse usage patterns and technical performance in order to improve the reliability and features of the Service.
- Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or lawful requests from regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
- Support: To respond to your enquiries, troubleshoot issues, and communicate service-related updates.
- Referral program administration: To calculate and pay commissions to participants in the Vulcan referral program.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Blockchain Data & Public Transparency
You should be aware that all transactions executed through the Service are recorded on public blockchain networks (including Solana). This means:
- Your wallet address and all associated on-chain activity are permanently and publicly visible
- Vulcan has no ability to delete, modify, or conceal on-chain data
- Third parties — including blockchain analytics firms, regulators, and the general public — can associate on-chain activity with your wallet address
This is an inherent property of public blockchains and is not within Vulcan's control. You should use the Service with full awareness that your on-chain activity is public and permanent.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use the following technologies on the Service:
- Session cookies: Required for wallet authentication and maintaining your logged-in state. These are deleted when you close your browser.
- Preference cookies: Used to remember your dashboard settings and display preferences between sessions.
- Analytics tools: We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as self-hosted or anonymised services) to understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other surveillance-advertising trackers.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect the functionality of the Service. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We may share data with third-party infrastructure providers (such as RPC node providers, hosting services, and analytics tools) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. These providers are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
- Legal obligations: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or a lawful request from a regulatory or law enforcement authority.
- Protection of rights: We may disclose information to protect the security or integrity of the Service, enforce our Terms of Service, or prevent fraud or harm.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users via a notice on the Service before such a transfer occurs.
We will never voluntarily share your wallet address or usage data with advertising networks, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
6. Execution Wallet Data
Because the Service maintains Execution Wallets on your behalf, we hold the following data in connection with those wallets:
- The mapping between your authentication wallet address and your assigned Execution Wallet(s)
- Transaction histories processed through Execution Wallets
- Current and historical asset balances within Execution Wallets
This data is held for operational purposes and to enable you to monitor, audit, and withdraw from your Execution Wallets. It is not shared with third parties except as required by law or described in Section 5 above.
No Recovery of Lost Access
If you lose access to your authentication wallet, Vulcan cannot verify your identity or restore access to your account or Execution Wallet assets. We do not hold identity documents, passwords, or recovery phrases. You are solely responsible for maintaining secure access to your wallet.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy. Specifically:
- Active account data: Retained for the duration of your use of the Service.
- Execution Wallet and transaction records: Retained for a minimum of 5 years following your last activity, in order to comply with potential legal, regulatory, or audit requirements.
- Log and technical data: Typically retained for 90 days, unless required for longer periods for security investigation or legal compliance.
- Support communications: Retained for up to 2 years following resolution of your enquiry.
When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it in accordance with our internal data management procedures. Note that on-chain data cannot be deleted.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS
- Access controls limiting internal access to data on a need-to-know basis
- Secure key management practices for Execution Wallet infrastructure
- Regular security reviews and monitoring of the Service
However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information or that of assets held in Execution Wallets. You use the Service at your own risk, as described in our Terms of Service.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal data. These may include:
- Access: The right to request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction: The right to request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: The right to request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention obligations. Note that we cannot delete on-chain data.
- Objection / restriction: The right to object to or restrict certain types of processing.
- Portability: The right to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@vulcan.so. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that wallet-authenticated platforms inherently limit our ability to verify your identity beyond your control of a given wallet address.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service or provided us with information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party platforms, decentralised exchanges, or blockchain explorers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the Service.
12. International Data Transfers
Vulcan operates under the laws of the British Virgin Islands. If you access the Service from a jurisdiction with data protection laws (such as the EU/EEA under GDPR, or the UK), please be aware that your information may be processed in jurisdictions that do not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information as described in this Policy. Where required by applicable law, we will implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
13. Referral Program Data
If you participate in the Vulcan referral program, we process the following data for program administration:
- Your wallet address as the referring party
- Wallet addresses of accounts you have referred
- Revenue attributable to your referred accounts, for the purpose of calculating your 25% commission
- Records of commission payments made to your wallet
This data is used solely for calculating and distributing referral commissions. It is not shared with referred users or third parties except as required for payment processing or legal compliance.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on the Service with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
For material changes that significantly affect how we handle your data, we will endeavour to provide a more prominent notice on the Service.
